VCA Eye Clinic for Animals is seeking a board certified or board-eligible Ophthalmologist to join our specialty referral practice located in beautiful San Diego, CA, right next to VCA ASG.

We are looking for a full time Ophthalmologist to join our current team of 2 Ophthalmologists and amazing staff. With on site surgery and diagnostic facilities we are a leader in providing high quality patient care to the San Diego community.

Next door, at VCA Animal Specialty Group, we feature a newly remodeled, 12,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, along with an accomplished and well-trained team dedicated to delivering the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service. We are proud of our cohesive and collaborative staff and value a team environment. We have been serving San Diego County and the surrounding areas for over forty years.

We offer Internal Medicine, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Oncology, Ophthalmology and Surgery Specialties as well as Emergency and Critical Care services.

We would expect any Specialist joining the team to participate in their education and hopefully also become a mentor for future growth and development. We would hope any new Specialist will nurture the compassionate care of patients, clients, and referring DVMs alike.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $300,000. This position is also eligible for production/commission and other variable pay programs.
